How To Use This Demo
This example web application server provides example code to show a simple
use of IBM Daeja ViewONE Professional and IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual.
Here is a simple step-by-step guide for getting the demo up and running using Apache Tomcat. If you are using a different Web Application Server, the instructions may differ.
- Install Apache Tomcat (http://tomcat.apache.org/ - if you are using a Windows OS, the EXE download is recommended)
- Navigate to the Tomcat webapps directory (eg. C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 7\webapps)
- Copy the "viewone-standalone-webapp" folder supplied in this demo to the webapps directory described in the previous step.
- Restart Tomcat (use Start->Programs->Apache Tomcat->Configure Tomcat to stop and re-start the Tomcat service)
- Launch your web browser
- Turn off popup blocking
- Navigate to http://localhost:8080/viewone-standalone-webapp/
- Navigate to IBM Daeja ViewONE demo pages.
